Get familiar with the basics of kayaking; how to get in and out, self rescue, rescuing others, towing a kayak and learning different strokes. Following the basics, participants will take a short paddle up Bayshore or the surrounding areas and return.

Please bring; water, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses. insect repellent. Waterproof bags and

PFDs will be provided.

Multiple types of Kayaks are available for training: Sit on top Kayak, Ocean Kayak, and Paddle Kayak

*12yrs or older to ride in a single kayak. 11 & under must be in tandem kayak with an adult.  **Maximum 4 per class
