The MacDill AFB Library, co-located with the Education Center, is open to all military personnel (active, reserve and retired) and their family members. All family members ten and older and any DoD or contract employees who have been authorized base access can register for a library account and utilize the 70+ digital resources and the tangible collection of 35,000 resources. Anyone outside the MacDill Community who desires access to the library should call or email for more information.

Find out if your favorite book or that hard to find novel is at the MacDill library. Simply search the online catalog and if a copy is available you may either visit the base library to check it out in person, or you may reserve a copy of the book by placing it on hold. When the book is ready, the library will contact you by phone or email and you have 3 business days to pick up your book.
