ABOUT US

The MacDill AFB Library, co-located with the Education Center, is open to all military personnel (active, reserve, and retired) and dependents with a military ID card. Civilians taking classes or working on the base may also use the library. Anyone outside the macDill community who desires access to the library should call or email for more information.

  • Fax service. Outgoing fax for DSN, local and toll free numbers: 10¢/page. Incoming faxes: 10¢/page. Long-distance faxes: Up to 10 pages: $1.00, Up 11-20 pages: $2.00, etc. Check with the Front Desk.

LIBRARY ONLINE CATALOG

Find out if your favorite book or that hard to find novel is at the MacDill library. Simply search the online catalog and if a copy is available you may either visit the base library to check it out in person, or you may reserve a copy of the book by placing it on hold. When the book is ready, the library will contact you by phone or email and you have 3 business days to pick up your book.

Your username is your library card and the password is the 4-digit# assigned by the MacDill library, which should be handwritten on your card. If you would like to change or have forgotten your password stop by the front desk or call us.
