Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)
The Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is comprised of EFMP medical, assignments, and family support. The M&FRC is home to our EFMP Family Support Coordinators who provide non-medical assistance families of any DoD ID cardholder and of all branches of service, who have adult or child dependents with special needs. Services include: family needs assessments, service plans, trainings, events, and information community resources, support groups, respite care, housing, educational supports, financial assistance and more.

Information & Referral
Provides assistance in determining military and community resources for referral and collaboration. It is a centralized point for information and referral to a comprehensive network of internal and external agencies, services and programs.
Installation Voting Assistance Office

Key Spouse Program
The MacDill Key Spouse Program is designed to provide information and resources to military spouses, supporting military families in successfully navigating military life.
Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC)
Military families face unique challenges. They may struggle with issues such as deployment-related stress, reintegration and pressures of managing parenting and finances while a loved one is deployed. Provides short-term, non-medical counseling services to members and their families at no-cost. Provides psycho-education to help military service members and their families understand the impact of deployment and other stresses related to life in the military.

Assists military members and their families through the deployment phases, by providing members with Pre/Post Deployment (Reintegration) Briefings and sustainment support to families during deployments.

Personal Financial Readiness (PFR)
Information, education, and counseling. PFR offers short & long-term solutions to financial problems by providing you with the information needed to develop a sound budget and plan for a strong financial future.
Relocation Assistance
Provides the knowledge and skills needed to accomplish a successful Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and provide Newcomers Orientation.

School Liaison
Offers information, assistance and referral services to parents in making their child’s educational transition into and out of the area as smooth as possible. We serve as a communication link between MacDill AFB parents and the surrounding school districts and advocate for adherence to the requirements of the Interstate Compact Agreement.

Transition Assistance (TAP)
The Military & Family Readiness Center at MacDill AFB has a longstanding tradition of delivering one of the best Transition Assistance Programs (TAP) in the Department of Defense. Our TAP services and classes can be used by any branch of the military and will satisfy all congressional mandates. Our new TAP pages were created to assist you in navigating all the information and resources. Consider this a one-stop shop for all aspects of TAP.
Volunteer Resource Program (VRP)
Formal Department of Defense volunteer program that gives military ID card holders the chance to volunteer with agencies on MacDill AFB. Check out the list of agencies and ask about our incentive program called MacVIP.
AF Warrior & Survivor Care
The program provides transitional services to wounded, seriously ill, and injured service members.
Air Force Families Forever (AFFF)
AFFF is a long-term survivor aftercare program established to provide support and resources to eligible surviving family members of deceased Airmen, through information and referral, as well as, facilitating remembrance and connection.
Bundles 4 Babies
Representatives from multiple base agencies will provide information and services to assist participants in preparing for the arrival of their new baby. During the workshop you will receive a bundle of information, resources and a special gift (if eligible)!

Casualty Assistance & Af Survivor Benefit Program
Provides guidance to commanders, casualty assistance representatives, family liaison officers and other support agencies to ensure members and their families are taken care of as expeditiously as possible. We also administer the Air Force’s Survivor Benefit Program (SBP)
Dorm Departure Program
The Dorm Departure Program (D2 Program) provides assistance to air and space force dorm residents ready to move out of the dorms.
The D2 Program prepares service members to successfully transition to independent living. This class is designed to assist in researching, saving, and planning for your new living accommodations.

Emergency Financial Assistance
Emergency financial assistance is available to all branches – Air Force Aid Society (AFAS), Army Emergency Relief (AER), and the Navy Marine Corp Relief Society (NMCRS).
