The MacDill Child Development Center (CDC) currently has immediate vacancies for children 2 years thru 5 years for Full Time care. Parents must express their interest by going to, and creating, an account at
.
We do have 3 CDC centers, and parents are asked to sign their child up 3 times (one for each center). When you are offered a child care spot at one of the centers, your enrollment will consist of completing a Parent Orientation, enrollment paperwork, and providing a copy of your child’s up-to-date immunization record.
Please make the CDC Staff aware of any special needs your child may have, prior to enrollment. Weekly fees are based on the total family income (TFI) and a 10% discount for multiple children.
About Us:
Welcome to the sunshine state and home of three MacDill AFB Child Development Centers: your child's "home away from home." We offer hourly and weekly care for children as young as 6 wks of age through 5 yrs of age. Full day-care is provided for 128 children at Bldg 381 (CDC 1), 218 children at Bldg 395 (CDC 2) and 216 children at Bldg 384 (CDC 3). Upon enrollment into our facility there is required paperwork to complete, including emergency contact information and a current immunization record. Our programs follow "Creative Curriculum," which is based on the age and stage of development for each child's interests and needs.
Overview:
Our program is Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, so you know you are getting the best care possible for your child. Our environments promote growth and development in social, emotional, cognitive, language and fine and gross motor skills. We practice family-style dining by providing USDA-approved menus to provide a nutritious meal option for children in our care. All centers are DoD-certified to ensure you are being offered quality, early childhood programming for your children, specializing in learning through play. Additionally, we participate in the Florida Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program for eligible children, 4 & 5 years of age. Our programs have multiple inspection agencies that uphold us to the highest level of care and ensure it is maintained. All centers are NAEYC-accredited, offering quality, early childhood programming for your children. We use the "Creative Curriculum," which uses the method of children learning through developmentally appropriate activities that are based on their interests and needs. Enrollment is available on a priority basis. You can go to the website
militarychildcare.com to enroll and begin the process of going on our waiting list.
